Musings Over a McDonalds McFlurry

This can't be real vanilla

2.15 is a small price
for a little bit of heaven
when its hot as hell outside

maybe brain freeze
is and allergic reaction

its hard to be poetic
about ice cream

it slides down my tongue
icing my body
until it glops into my stomach
and lowers my body temperature

now my mouth tastes of oreo,
tainting the water I drink
and the gum I chew
